Information: Welcome to My World was a compilation of country tunes, all of which had been previously released except for I Can't Stop Loving You. That song was from Elvis's June 10, 1972, afternoon concert at Madison Square Garden. Sales of over 500,000 copies resulted in certification as a Gold Record by the RIAA on September 30, 1977. The front cover of Welcome to My World featured a painting of Elvis instead of the usual photographic still.

Welcome to My World peaked at #44 on Billboard's Top LPs chart during its 25-week stay. On the Country LPs chart, it had an 11-week stay, but reached #4.
